Who do you think we are?
Software Species is for evolution. Human kind is the species interested in software and software itself is a species. We say that software is a species with certain sadness, because this species is being bred in captivity. The results are outrageous: 'yet another calculator' clones, shoddy applications unworthy of anyone's interest, programs that empower only those with infinite time and patience.
Being crypto-billionaires (as, no doubt, many other good people in the industry), we decided to abandon haste and bake quality products. The process proved to be no less consuming than decyphering the human genome!
We say, stop in your tracks, all ye who put efforts into the 'yet another' outrage. Spend energy on creating more intelligent, adaptive applications, superior to those of the 80's. Find spots to improve, to fight the evolution lag, to make the results worth the efforts. Good for your karma and for your bank accounts.
